Dr. Steven Carp has spent more than 25 years doing one thing: helping patients look like the best version of themselves — not someone else. As a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Carp Cosmetic Surgery Center, Dr. Carp has built a practice rooted in a simple principle: every patient deserves the surgeon's full attention, from the first consultation through the final follow-up. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Carp specializes in aesthetic procedures of the face, breast, and body, with particular expertise in breast augmentation, body contouring, and advanced facial rejuvenation.

Having completed his undergraduate studies and graduating with high honors from Michigan State University, Dr. Carp went on to earn his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 1987. He completed six years of General Surgery training at the prestigious University of Texas Medical Branch. In his final year Dr. Carp was appointment Chief Surgical Resident. His training also included a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Wound Healing Research at the prestigious Shriners’ Burns Institute in Galveston, Texas. After serving as Chief Resident in General Surgery at the University of Texas, Dr. Carp received his specialty training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Carp has trained with world renowned experts in surgery.
He began private practice in Iowa before moving to Ohio in 1998. In 2005, Dr. Carp relocated his practice to the Akron and Beachwood Ohio area, where he built the current 4,500 square foot facility where he currently practices.
